I tend to force people to think like me, to behave like me, to think that I'm the right one, and those who have different opinion/behavior is wrong, and they need to change, or more like, they should behave just like me, cos I'm the right one -- and guess what, I'm wrong.
When we have plenty of good food, then normal food is not appreciated, some time, thrown away. Those same food we are begging to have when we are hungry and have nothing to eat, are being thrown away, being of relative values. -- and I'm not being a good Steward, a good Steward knows the real value of things, and should be able to manage all things trusted over to him.
Today is not the first time I learned those above, but I keep stumble on these things -- I realize it's already a behavior and more effort is needed to overcome a behavior, moving forward I need to KIV above lesson.

Lately, there are a lot of things running through my mind,
and those problems are not within my power to solve,
I feel like screaming, and complaining, and I just haven't find the right place/time,
[or I'm just too scared, I know it's not the right thing to do]

So I just prayed, [so weak], my thought are saying "if only..."
This morning I came to church and said to God,
"I think now is Your turn, it's Your move God, and no 'skip' is allowed"
"It's about time that You come and save, time for You to make a move"
I came with an expectant heart to get something from God,
Anything to help me, or just a support will do, and I had this conversation;

me:
"God, I feel like I'm climbing the wrong stairs, I've climb so high,
and I can't turn back, I'm stuck, I have no where to go, I see no future"

and God said:
"You are not stuck! you may be moving slowly, you may be crawling, but definitely not stuck!"
"I have a plan and a future for you, and what you're facing right now may need you to climb carefully and slowly, you may even need to stop a while, but you will keep going!"
"I've seen the big picture, and when you look back and see, you'll see what I see, you have your own pace, your own speed, you maybe crawling for now, but you'll have your sprint later on"
"Remember, you will get through this!"

Lord, I pray, bless them, may Your peace and joy abounds in them,
guide them and let not anger, fear, hurt be with them.
and for my other problems, I lift them up to You, o Lord.

Twitter new looks on Android - complete revamp!

Twitter has launched a new version of its Android app, revamping its interface to match the ones used in its iPhone and web apps.

The entire interface has been redesigned from the ground up. Unlike the old interface, which had a focus on pure simplicity and lacked many of the features available on its iPhone counterpart, the new interface includes a revamped menu bar. It puts the timeline, @mentions, direct messages and additional options like lists, retweets and favorites at the top of the page. Search and Compose are now available on the top right as well.
Twitter has also added the ability to use the app without signing in. This gives users the ability to browse the Twitterverse without the need to sign up, though Twitter has also added that option, too.
Finally, Twitter for Android now includes a universal search function. If a user searches for “cats,” he or she will be presented the option to either perform a traditional Twitter search, search only nearby tweets, find people named “cats” or go to the Twitter profile of @cats.
The update brings the app closer to the functionality provided by its iPhone and iPad apps. Twitter got its official iPhone app when it acquired Tweetie last April. The company launched its Android app later that month.

Starbucks Chairman, President and CEO Howard Schultz is joining Groupon‘s board of directors Thursday.

This news is predicated on Schultz’ venture capital firm’s investment in Groupon. Maveron LLC, a firm with offices in Seattle and San Francisco, has given Groupon an undisclosed amount of funding.
Groupon recently closed a colossal $950 million Series D from Andreessen Horowitz, Battery Ventures, DST, Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Maverick Capital, Silver Lake and Technology Crossover Ventures.
Considering Starbucks’s focus on social media marketing and Groupon’s focus on large, national brands, the relationship makes sense.

Everything you need to begin developing apps is included in a single download: Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone, the Windows Phone Emulator, Expression Blend 4 for Windows Phone, and XNA Game Studio 4.0. The installer is smart enough to download only what you need, and the tools will work with your existing Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend 4 installations.

Developers can start listing their apps in the marketplace, in early October, you will need to download this version of the tools. Any application built with a previous version of the tools will fail application certification in the Marketplace. When you do submit your application, you can expect it to take about five days to pass or fail certification, though you can check the status of your app submission at any time at the developer portal. For more information on passing certification, please see the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace policies.

do I have the courage to ask this question to people around me.

When I look at myself this past few weeks/months,

I'm ashame to admit that I myself feels hard to see His works through me.

If you can't see Jesus in my life, then there's something wrong with my Christian life.

meaning, I as Christian, should let His light shine through me, to let Him use my life as a blessing to others,

also to set an example in my daily life, and live my life as an open book, for people to see that He is so real.

My life purpose is suppose to be that people may see Jesus in me, that people may know that He is real,

to be the Light and the Salt in my world, and when I do become a blessing, I need to testify that it is not me,

but it is He that is working in me, He that is the source and the true blessing.

He is calling to use our life, as a Christian, it is a privilege to serve Him

our greatest desire should be to love Him, by fulfilling His desire.

Yea, iPhone 4 is here! Personally I like the design, the glass, bigger battery, retina display, and the A4 chip.
But I don't like the way they advertise their software, they are saying it like they are the one who invent the technology, Email Thread Grouping (gmail), FaceTime (Video Call), Multi Tasking, wew, c'mon :(

Yes, I usually like Apple's product video ad, but not today, I'm not sure why, but when I see the iPhone 4 video ad, I feel sick, everything is like being way over exaggerated, they way they talk, and promote the feature... phew..

For now, good job Apple for bringing in new product, I'm sure you all have worked very hard for this, kudos for all the team involved!

Microsoft Rolls Out Impressive Enhancements To Windows Live Essentials Suite

Microsoft is giving a preview of a variety of enhancements to its Windows Live Essentials suite – a set of online and desktop services that includes hotmail, messenger, sync, movie maker and photo gallery. Most of the desktop versions of these services are available only for Windows users, although the online components only require a browser from any operating system.
These enhancements come after Microsoft’s preview of the online version of Office, which is also within this suite. I had a chance to sit down with Brian Hall, GM of the Windows Live Business Group, today to see some of the changes.
Many of the changes are fairly minor, but at least two are going to be big crowd pleasers. First, Microsoft has made changes to their Movie Maker video editing software that allows for the creation of Animoto-like video clips containing photos and videos. They’ve added a variety of transition and effect options, as well as the ability to add music and text, to these clips.
But the really interesting changes are around Photo Gallery. Previously Microsoft had a facial recognition feature to allow you to quickly add names as tags to photos. But they are now adding facial recognition as well, and it takes a guess as to the person in the photo. In the demo it worked very well and saves time with tagging – a lot of time. The application also has one click sharing of photos to Facebook and other services and the tags go with it.
But by far the most impressive thing I saw today was the Photo Fuse feature that they’ve added. The general idea is you can take a bunch of pictures and turn them into a single photo that’s better than any of the originals. And it only takes a few seconds.
The best use case is clearly group photos that you’d take a a wedding or wherever. Someone always has their eyes closed or is looking away. With Photo Fuse you can take the best parts of a number of photos and create that perfect group picture.
Hall spent a lot of time today showing me Photo Fuse, which I zeroed in on among all the other new features launching. We even took a few pictures of Hall and his PR people – Michael Celiceo and Bonnie McCracken – and ran them through Photo Fuse.
This was the final result – a picture that was never actually taken (the top image – you just can’t tell). The working photos that are real are below it. There’s also a video of the whole process. Fascinating stuff.

The new suite will launch in a few weeks, says Microsoft. In the meantime we’ll give away 100 accounts now – details in the next post.

Every freelancer should have an online portfolio. You’ve got one, right? If not, skip to the last paragraph of this post. It’s written for you.

If you do have one, you can breathe a sigh of relief. You’re halfway there.

Building your portfolio is easy. The hard part is making it good. A killer portfolio does more than just showcase your work. It transforms visitors into clients. Best of all, it’s an automatic work generator.

In this post, I want to show you how to take your online portfolio to the next level.

1. ASK THE QUESTION

Online portfolios tend to come in one of three shapes: a blog, a website, or a dedicated solution (something that’s just a portfolio, without any of the extra stuff).

The question I’d like you to have in mind as you read this is: how well does my site answer the questions potential clients are likely to have?

2. FOCUS ON SIMPLICITY

Your portfolio exists to impress and persuade potential clients. If you have a blog or website, though, you might (wisely) be trying to draw traffic from other sources. Maybe you’re sharing your knowledge, or providing value in other ways.

This has one potential drawback, though: you’re catering to so many people that the clear message you want to send potential clients might be getting lost in the noise.

If you’re looking for work, don’t be afraid to say it simply and boldly. Stick a ‘Hire Me’ button, link or section on your site.

Simplicity is the key to good web design. Potential clients will have one key question:where do I go if I’m thinking about hiring this person?

Give them the answer, as simply as you can.

3. OPTIMIZE YOUR ‘ABOUT’ PAGE

The importance of a good ‘About’ page can’t be overestimated. It’s the place potential clients will visit when they want answers to some essential questions:

Who is this person?
What qualifications and experience do they have?
Do they seem trustworthy and reliable?
Are they looking for work?
Can I see some examples of previous work?

You can answer the trustworthy and reliable question in two ways. You can include testimonials from previous clients, or you can emphasize the ways in which you’re a decent, normal person: you have a family, hobbies and so on.

For the last question, I think it’s important to link to a page containing examples of your previous work and nothing else: the portfolio in its most traditional form. It will allow potential clients to get to know what you’re capable of without any distractions.

4. PROVIDE A CLEAR MEANS OF CONTACT

It can’t hurt to put contact information at the bottom of your ‘About’ page, but this isn’t the only place you should make it available.

Website usability is conversational. If a potential client wanted to get in contact with you, would they ask you to tell them about yourself? Probably not. It doesn’t really make sense. They would instead ask: how can I get in contact with you? A prominent ‘Contact’ page is a clear and simple answer to that question.

5. CREATE A DEDICATED ‘HIRE ME’ PAGE

If your portfolio is a traditional showcase of your work, your ‘About’ page will suffice. If your blog or website is aimed at a broader audience, however, you’ll probably want to use your ‘About’ page to explain what your site does and what it has to offer.

That’s when a ‘Hire Me’ page becomes important (though you’d probably call it ‘Hire Jonathan’, or whatever your name is). It should include all the information listed in the ‘About’ page section above.

Link to your hire page in a prominent way from your site’s front page. If you want to get hired, be bold about it.

6. SHOW OFF ONLY THE SKILL YOU’RE SELLING

This might sound too common-sensical to be worth mentioning, but it’s a mistake I see made in a lot of online portfolios.

The freelancer showcases a wide range of great work. You head to their ‘About’ page, only to discover that they’re only looking for work in one of the areas covered. They’re presenting their portfolio as a vanity folder rather than a useful resource for potential clients.

If you only want web design work at the moment, for example, don’t showcase your photography. The items in your portfolio should always demonstrate your skill in the area you’d like to be hired in.

7. TELL STORIES POTENTIAL CLIENTS WANT TO HEAR

eople who hire web designers, for example, are rarely designers themselves. They’re unlikely to appreciate your work for its creative value alone.

It’s very likely that you know more about the area you freelance in than your potential clients do. People who hire web designers, for example, are rarely designers themselves. They’re unlikely to appreciate your work for its creative value alone.

For that reason, you need to tell stories about your work. Not lies, of course — real, genuine stories. Stories about results. What did it do for your client? How did they benefit from your work?

Don’t showcase the items you’re most proud of. Showcase items that yielded the best results for your clients. Did website traffic spike 30% after that redesign you did? Did the last article you wrote for a client make the front page of Digg?

Potential clients are more interested in the story than the work itself. Always remember that your work is a means to an end: more traffic, more profits, more sales. By focusing on the end result, you’re focusing on what potential clients really want.

8. BUILD TRAFFIC TO TURN VISITORS INTO CLIENTS

You can source-out potential clients and point them to your portfolio, or you can create a portfolio people will find without your help. Some of those people will be potential clients. Get enough traffic, make a good impression, and your portfolio could become an automatic work generator.

More quality traffic generally means more work. However, it takes a lot of effort to build a popular website. Not necessarily a lot of effort in one go, but a sustained effort over time. For most successful bloggers and webmasters, that sustained effort feels more like a rewarding hobby than a chore.

As a freelancer, there are a number of ways you can add value to your site:

Share your knowledge with other freelancers.
Mentor wannabe freelancers.
Showcase your own work and work you like.
Create useful tools.
Share personal stories.

That’s just five options. I don’t doubt there are a hundred more. There are no right or wrong answers, so stick with something you love doing. That way, your enjoyment will still be there, even when the traffic isn’t.

9. ADD A LITTLE DOSE OF SEO

If you don’t want to work at creating content and generating inbound links, I’d suggest using this simple tip to optimize your site for search engines. Some of you reading this will be familiar with SEO, but for those who aren’t, it essentially refers to the things you do to place your site higher in the search results for certain keywords.

If you can pull this off, you’ll get an automatic stream of search traffic without doing too much work.

If you’re a web designer working out of the Bay Area, for example, potential clients will probably be searching Google for ‘Bay Area web designer’. Incorporate this word string into your site as much as is possible (and natural). Put it in your site’s title bar, work it into your ‘About’ page, and so on.

Just remember that you need to keep it subtle. Unless there’s plenty of competition for your keyword string, a few mentions should be enough.

The traffic you’ll get from this practice is made up of people looking to hire someone just like you. It’s easy to do, and very much worth doing.

Okay, after two videos above, I definitely am not going to install flash on froyo. I'm a bit disappointed with the result, but I think this is also for the best, I don't like to not being able to view the flash content when I browse, but I think I prefer that than to have a laggy display. Smooth scrolling is a must!
Yes froyo's browser is faster than other browser, but I still prefer the performance once the page has been loaded, I definitely want a pay off for the time I invested for that page to load.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. Its a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. Its about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. Thats how winning is done!

The software industry might be the world’s greatest breeding ground for new systems of management. From Agile, to Extreme Programming , to Test Driven Development (TDD), the acronyms and frameworks keep piling up. Why?

Some say it’s immaturity: that software is still a young industry and all the change is the path to some true fundamentals. Others say it’s because software people like making things up and can’t help themselves. Well I say this: if we’re going to have dozens of models we may as well have some that are honest, however cynical, to what’s really going on much of the time.

(There is a happy list of these I’m sure, but this is the cynical one).

Asshole Driven development (ADD) – Any team where the biggest jerk makes all the big decisions is asshole driven development. All wisdom, logic or process goes out the window when Mr. Asshole is in the room, doing whatever idiotic, selfish thing he thinks is best. There may rules and processes, but Mr. A breaks them and people follow anyway.

Cognitive Dissonance development (CDD) – In any organization where there are two or more divergent beliefs on how software should be made. The tension between those beliefs, as it’s fought out in various meetings and individual decisions by players on both sides, defines the project more than any individual belief itself.

Cover Your Ass Engineering (CYAE) – The driving force behind most individual efforts is to make sure than when the shit hits the fan, they are not to blame.

Development By Denial (DBD) - Everybody pretends there is a method for what’s being done, and that things are going ok, when in reality, things are a mess and the process is on the floor. The worse things get, the more people depend on their denial of what’s really happening, or their isolation in their own small part of the project, to survive.

Get Me Promoted Methodology (GMPM) - People write code and design things to increase their visibility, satisfy their boss’s whims, and accelerate their path to a raise or the corner office no matter how far outside of stated goals their efforts go. This includes allowing disasters to happen so people can be heroes, writing hacks that look great in the short term but crumble after the individual has moved on, and focusing more on the surface of work than its value.

To enable jquery in your website, download the latest library from their site, and include the script in ur html, something like

this function will be executed once the html document is finished downloaded in the browser, ensuring that all html elements are there and ready for manipulation.

2. Element Selector

We use jQuery to simplify the way we get an element in our web page.

After we master how we can get the element that we wanted using jQuery, we can make use a vast number of functions from jQuery, like to get/set a specific element value, to assign/remove a CSS class to html elements, to do animation, and a lot more.

There are three basic selecting method using jQuery, using element id (#), class (.), or element type.

Sample:

Use # sign to get element by it's id.

$('#aDivElement') <-- this will get element with id: "aDivElement"
Use . sign to get elements by it's class.

$('.elementClass') <-- this will get all elements that has class: "elementClass"

Apple has a long relationship with Adobe. In fact, we met Adobe’s founders when they were in their proverbial garage. Apple was their first big customer, adopting their Postscript language for our new Laserwriter printer. Apple invested in Adobe and owned around 20% of the company for many years. The two companies worked closely together to pioneer desktop publishing and there were many good times. Since that golden era, the companies have grown apart. Apple went through its near death experience, and Adobe was drawn to the corporate market with their Acrobat products. Today the two companies still work together to serve their joint creative customers – Mac users buy around half of Adobe’s Creative Suite products – but beyond that there are few joint interests.

I wanted to jot down some of our thoughts on Adobe’s Flash products so that customers and critics may better understand why we do not allow Flash on iPhones, iPods and iPads. Adobe has characterized our decision as being primarily business driven – they say we want to protect our App Store – but in reality it is based on technology issues. Adobe claims that we are a closed system, and that Flash is open, but in fact the opposite is true. Let me explain.

First, there’s “Open”.

Adobe’s Flash products are 100% proprietary. They are only available from Adobe, and Adobe has sole authority as to their future enhancement, pricing, etc. While Adobe’s Flash products are widely available, this does not mean they are open, since they are controlled entirely by Adobe and available only from Adobe. By almost any definition, Flash is a closed system.

Apple has many proprietary products too. Though the operating system for the iPhone, iPod and iPad is proprietary, we strongly believe that all standards pertaining to the web should be open. Rather than use Flash, Apple has adopted HTML5, CSS and JavaScript – all open standards. Apple’s mobile devices all ship with high performance, low power implementations of these open standards. HTML5, the new web standard that has been adopted by Apple, Google and many others, lets web developers create advanced graphics, typography, animations and transitions without relying on third party browser plug-ins (like Flash). HTML5 is completely open and controlled by a standards committee, of which Apple is a member.

Apple even creates open standards for the web. For example, Apple began with a small open source project and created WebKit, a complete open-source HTML5 rendering engine that is the heart of the Safari web browser used in all our products. WebKit has been widely adopted. Google uses it for Android’s browser, Palm uses it, Nokia uses it, and RIM (Blackberry) has announced they will use it too. Almost every smartphone web browser other than Microsoft’s uses WebKit. By making its WebKit technology open, Apple has set the standard for mobile web browsers.

Second, there’s the “full web”.

Adobe has repeatedly said that Apple mobile devices cannot access “the full web” because 75% of video on the web is in Flash. What they don’t say is that almost all this video is also available in a more modern format, H.264, and viewable on iPhones, iPods and iPads. YouTube, with an estimated 40% of the web’s video, shines in an app bundled on all Apple mobile devices, with the iPad offering perhaps the best YouTube discovery and viewing experience ever. Add to this video from Vimeo, Netflix, Facebook, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, ESPN, NPR, Time, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, People, National Geographic, and many, many others. iPhone, iPod and iPad users aren’t missing much video.

Another Adobe claim is that Apple devices cannot play Flash games. This is true. Fortunately, there are over 50,000 games and entertainment titles on the App Store, and many of them are free. There are more games and entertainment titles available for iPhone, iPod and iPad than for any other platform in the world.

Third, there’s reliability, security and performance.

Symantec recently highlighted Flash for having one of the worst security records in 2009. We also know first hand that Flash is the number one reason Macs crash. We have been working with Adobe to fix these problems, but they have persisted for several years now. We don’t want to reduce the reliability and security of our iPhones, iPods and iPads by adding Flash.

In addition, Flash has not performed well on mobile devices. We have routinely asked Adobe to show us Flash performing well on a mobile device, any mobile device, for a few years now. We have never seen it. Adobe publicly said that Flash would ship on a smartphone in early 2009, then the second half of 2009, then the first half of 2010, and now they say the second half of 2010. We think it will eventually ship, but we’re glad we didn’t hold our breath. Who knows how it will perform?

Fourth, there’s battery life.

To achieve long battery life when playing video, mobile devices must decode the video in hardware; decoding it in software uses too much power. Many of the chips used in modern mobile devices contain a decoder called H.264 – an industry standard that is used in every Blu-ray DVD player and has been adopted by Apple, Google (YouTube), Vimeo, Netflix and many other companies.

Although Flash has recently added support for H.264, the video on almost all Flash websites currently requires an older generation decoder that is not implemented in mobile chips and must be run in software. The difference is striking: on an iPhone, for example, H.264 videos play for up to 10 hours, while videos decoded in software play for less than 5 hours before the battery is fully drained.

When websites re-encode their videos using H.264, they can offer them without using Flash at all. They play perfectly in browsers like Apple’s Safari and Google’s Chrome without any plugins whatsoever, and look great on iPhones, iPods and iPads.

Fifth, there’s Touch.

Flash was designed for PCs using mice, not for touch screens using fingers. For example, many Flash websites rely on “rollovers”, which pop up menus or other elements when the mouse arrow hovers over a specific spot. Apple’s revolutionary multi-touch interface doesn’t use a mouse, and there is no concept of a rollover. Most Flash websites will need to be rewritten to support touch-based devices. If developers need to rewrite their Flash websites, why not use modern technologies like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript?

Even if iPhones, iPods and iPads ran Flash, it would not solve the problem that most Flash websites need to be rewritten to support touch-based devices.

Sixth, the most important reason.

Besides the fact that Flash is closed and proprietary, has major technical drawbacks, and doesn’t support touch based devices, there is an even more important reason we do not allow Flash on iPhones, iPods and iPads. We have discussed the downsides of using Flash to play video and interactive content from websites, but Adobe also wants developers to adopt Flash to create apps that run on our mobile devices.

We know from painful experience that letting a third party layer of software come between the platform and the developer ultimately results in sub-standard apps and hinders the enhancement and progress of the platform. If developers grow dependent on third party development libraries and tools, they can only take advantage of platform enhancements if and when the third party chooses to adopt the new features. We cannot be at the mercy of a third party deciding if and when they will make our enhancements available to our developers.

This becomes even worse if the third party is supplying a cross platform development tool. The third party may not adopt enhancements from one platform unless they are available on all of their supported platforms. Hence developers only have access to the lowest common denominator set of features. Again, we cannot accept an outcome where developers are blocked from using our innovations and enhancements because they are not available on our competitor’s platforms.

Flash is a cross platform development tool. It is not Adobe’s goal to help developers write the best iPhone, iPod and iPad apps. It is their goal to help developers write cross platform apps. And Adobe has been painfully slow to adopt enhancements to Apple’s platforms. For example, although Mac OS X has been shipping for almost 10 years now, Adobe just adopted it fully (Cocoa) two weeks ago when they shipped CS5. Adobe was the last major third party developer to fully adopt Mac OS X.

Our motivation is simple – we want to provide the most advanced and innovative platform to our developers, and we want them to stand directly on the shoulders of this platform and create the best apps the world has ever seen. We want to continually enhance the platform so developers can create even more amazing, powerful, fun and useful applications. Everyone wins – we sell more devices because we have the best apps, developers reach a wider and wider audience and customer base, and users are continually delighted by the best and broadest selection of apps on any platform.

Conclusions.

Flash was created during the PC era – for PCs and mice. Flash is a successful business for Adobe, and we can understand why they want to push it beyond PCs. But the mobile era is about low power devices, touch interfaces and open web standards – all areas where Flash falls short.

The avalanche of media outlets offering their content for Apple’s mobile devices demonstrates that Flash is no longer necessary to watch video or consume any kind of web content. And the 200,000 apps on Apple’s App Store proves that Flash isn’t necessary for tens of thousands of developers to create graphically rich applications, including games.

New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too). Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind.

Jon Stewart Slams Apple Over Its Handling of Gizmodo Case

Tonight on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart gave his take regarding Gizmodo's iPhone exclusive and the subsequent police raid on Jason Chen's home. Speaking directly to Apple and Steve Jobs, Stewart didn't hold back his criticism of them. Video inside

Stewart first talked about how "excited" he was to see Gizmodo's report, before mocking the circumstances that led to its acquisition of the device.

Then, Stewart questioned whether it was necessary for Chen's home to be raided, stating, "the Gizmodo reviewer gets the meth lab in the basement treatment after he'd already given the phone back," before talking about how "creepy" Apple—or the "Appholes," as the screen called the company—was for its handling of the case.

Finally, Stewart delivered a direct address to Apple and Jobs in which he criticized the company for its increasing paranoia and obsessive control over the information related to its products, and also took some hilarious shots at AT&T.

A quick guide about mod_rewrite module in apache, please check if your server supports mod_rewrite and that u can edit ur htaccess file. for more thorough documentation read here.
basically to use this redirect, there are some line that you need to put in your htaccess.

Put this before all other rewrite commands to activate apache rewrite module.

Rewrite Base

RewriteBase /baseurl/

Put this to specify the base url for ur website, we use this if ur website is not located in the directly in the root domain folder (ex:your website is located at http://www.z3r0c0d3.com/blog) so you need to specify that the baseurl is blog. Put in RewriteBase /blog, so we can also use this value for later processing.

(example is to create a link, we can put baseurl in front of the link to link to other pages in the website.

Rewrite Rule

RewriteRule <Pattern> <Substitution> <[flags]>

This is the redirection rule that is really working to rewrite the request URL to a new address.

Take note that the order of this rule is important as we can implement combined rule to rewrite a request URL. Unlike the previous redirect command in htaccess, that simply redirect the request when the old_address matches. RewriteRule if the pattern matches, will first rewrite the old url to a new url with the substitution, then according to the flags given, continue to examine the next rule and apply second or more rewrite if the pattern matches. When all rewrite rules has been examined (or until Last flag is found) then the request url will then be transformed to the new url (or being redirected to the new url, according to the flag given).
the Pattern here is using regex (regular expression) to compare whether the request URL matches the pattern or not. important to take note is that we can save group of text in the old url and use it in the new url using () in the pattern, and use $N in the substitute.
example:

RewriteRule ^index.html$ another-link.html [R=301]

this will substitude http://dovestation.blogspot.com/index.html to http://dovestation.blogspot.com/another-link.html

and then redirect the request with 301 response code (defined in flag R=301)
RewriteRule ^.*$ http://www.google.com/another-link.html [R=301]

this will redirect all request in http://dovestation.blogspot.com/ to www.google.com/another-link.html.
RewriteRule ^blog/(.*)/index.html$ another-blog/$1/index.php [R=301]

this will redirect requests in blog folder that ended with index.html, to another-blog folder and use the same path in old request before index.html, and put index.php behind.

this will redirect all request to an image inside images folder folder in blog to a jpg image in images folder in root domain with the same filename.

there are some flags that can be specified for the rule, some commonly used are

R=code which will redirect the request to the new url with specified code.

L is a flag to stop rewriting, (meaning don’t examine further rewrite rule sets) and that this is the last rule applied if match.

N means go back to the first rule and do the process all over again with the new url.

NC means to ignore case when matching the pattern.

Rewrite Cond

RewriteCond <TestString> <CondPattern>

Put one or sets of RewriteCond to help filter Request URL for a RewriteRule. So we can put one, two, or more RewriteCond and if all RewriteCond is matched then RewriteRule would be applied.

the RewriteCond will check for every request with/without query string. Inside blog folder will be redirected (RewriteRule) to another-blog. We can put the “?” sign behind to remove the query string from the old url.

the RewriteCond will check if the request is not an existing file, then rewrite the URL to index.php (but does no redirection because we didn’t specify R flag). so the url in address bar will stay the same, is just that the server will serve index.php to the browser. the RewriteRule won’t be applied if the request points to an existing file. (meaning it will serve the designated file if it’s exists, like images/css/js).

- stay hungry: people that is in hunger crave for something, they will try and try to get what they crave for, and not just being idle and stay where they are, they force themselves to be creative to get what they want. We should not stay idle, and stay with our current condition, keep on moving forward, and crave to be better person. Don’t settle with this, keep looking and moving forward. This talks about character, about skills, also about ideas, try to keep on craving forward, be creative to get the ‘food’. innovate new ideas, build a better character, learn new skills, keep moving forward, stay hungry!
- stay foolish: people that feel that they are a fool, realize about their weaknesses, and that keeps them modest and make it easier for them to learn. they thirst to learn something new cos they knew that they need to learn and to tolerate their foolishness. We need to keep on learning, know that there’s always a bigger sky up there, a roof for house, a sky for the world, and a universe to conquer. stay foolish, keep on learning!

The main tank called the “Kuroshio Sea” holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.
